VITAL Program: Market Research, Trade Show & Trade Mission Grants for Members

Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) helps companies navigate the complexities of exporting and grow their businesses.

Each year, they help over 300 Virginia exporters by identifying new international markets, developing market entry strategies, and locating distributors and representatives or products or services.  Both new and experienced exporters benefit from the following export development programs, services, and grants:

Programs and Grants

VEDP offers programs and grants to help Virginia companies grow their international sales. Eligible companies can receive assistance developing a strategy for exporting, up to $3,000 for travel to international markets, and up to $10,000 in reimbursements for export-related expenses.

International Market Research

VEDP’s team of international research consultants covers more than 75 countries around the world. These experts provide valuable in-country market research specific to your product or service. They compile background information, identify potential representatives, conduct due diligence, and arrange appointments with potential distributors and customers.

International Trade Shows and Appointments

Find prospective customers and grow sales with international business meetings arranged on your behalf. Meetings are pre-qualified based on your company’s export market objectives. International trade shows provide an opportunity to exhibit your products and services in a shared Virginia booth.
