SOC Skill Profile by Occupation
The U.S. Department of Labor, as part of its O-NET database, accesses the skills required for given occupations across 35 skill categories (e.g., Active Learning, Mathematics, Speaking, and Writing). Required skilled levels are classified according to a seven point scale where one is the lowest skill level and seven the highest.
