 Since 1922 the Virginia Manufacturers Association (VMA) has served as Industry’s Advocate™.

Our mission is to create the best business environment in the United States for world-class advanced technology businesses to manufacture and headquarter their companies for maximum productivity and profitability.

The VMA is the only statewide, non-government trade association dedicated to manufacturers.  VMA’s four service areas are:

Membership Options

The VMA offers multiple membership options!

Manufacturers Membership
There are two membership options available for manufacturers:

Membership rates for manufacturers with more than 25 employees are based on the company’s capital investment and the number of employees at each Virginia facility.  The Small Manufacturers rate is based on number of employees (0-25 Employees – $277).

Associate Membership
The VMA 
offers an Associate Membership to service providers of manufacturers. Associate Memberships are also offered to various affiliate groups of the VMA. The investment rate for an Associate Membership is $735.

Retired Manufacturers
The VMA values all of its members, even those that have retired from their professional career in manufacturing. The membership option for retired manufacturers to join is the
 Retired Manufacturers Council (no charge).
