Ted Narozny is the Lipton plant manager for Unilever, overseeing the day-to-day management of the largest tea manufacturing plant in the United States. Under his leadership, the Suffolk, Virginia-based plant recently became the first Unilever facility to achieve “zero-landfill” status – it sends no waste materials to landfills, instead processing it through robust recycling and composting programs and turning some of it into usable energy. He is also responsible for the management of Unilever’s tea facility in Montreal, Canada.
Since joining Unilever in 1992, Ted has held various positions in human resources, supply chain, and customer service. He has also led procurement redesign projects at Unilever’s North American headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey and has worked in Unilever’s contract manufacturing group where he was responsible for the management of over 40 third-party production companies and all of Unilever’s Canadian and Food Service co-packers.
Ted earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance from Lehigh University. He resides in Williamsburg, VA with his wife Eileen, and three children.
