Virginia Economic Development Partnership is the state’s economic development office that cultivates new business investment, fosters international trade growth and encourages the expansion of existing Virginia businesses (along with the Virginia Department of Business Assistance and the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services). Virginia's Finest Trademark Program was developed to identify, differentiate and promote top quality Virginia-produced and processed agricultural products. Since it began, the program has grown to more than 500 participating agricultural, food and beverage companies.

National Council for Advanced Manufacturing - The National Council for Advanced Manufacturing (NACFAM) is an industry-led, policy research organization, working collaboratively since 1989 with key leaders from industry, education, and government, to shape public policies and programs to make U.S. manufacturing globally competitive.

Minerals Management Service is national in scope and headquartered in Washington, D.C. It includes two major programs, Offshore Minerals Management and Minerals Revenue Management. The Offshore program, which manages the mineral resources on the OCS, comprises three regions: Alaska , Gulf of Mexico , and the Pacific.
